MERGE for Equality

April 17, 2016 by mergefo1

We are finally one!

Animated GIF with the logos of the MRC, MRI, HMB, and MERGE. Slogan: And then all that has divided us will MERGE.

In honor of over 34 years of supporting men and promoting healthy relationships, the Healthy Men and Boys Network is now MERGE for Equality.

MERGE is grounded in the legacy of Men’s Resource Center (MRC), one of the earliest men’s organizations in North America, and Men’s Resources International (MRI), an outgrowth of MRC, which conducts workshops in the U.S., Africa, Asia and Europe. For decades MRC and MRI have been on the forefront – locally, nationally and internationally – of male engagement efforts focused on both achieving gender equality and eliminating gender-based violence.

We are grateful to our friends and partners, who have stayed committed to our work and eagerly anticipated this transformation. We are especially honored that this list includes deep alliances with organizations that ensure fairness and safety for women and children.

MERGE is also pleased to announce June 15, 2015 is the date of our 3rd Annual Summit. Once again, we will come together to connect, be inspired and engage. Please register now!!

Together we will advance the beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors that allow men and boys to be their authentic selves and embrace their role in ensuring gender equality. We will do this with individuals, groups, and communities across the globe, in alliance with girls, women and all marginalized people.

Together, we are MERGE for Equality logo
